New move cancels even valid birth certificates

Native Puerto Ricans left wondering what to do now

Just because it's "official" doesn't necessarily mean a birth certificate is real, WND has reported in its coverage of the dispute over President Obama's eligibility. Now it seems that not even "real" means "real."

That's after Puerto Rico officials have determined a law enacted in December – apparently to combat identity theft – will make every Puerto Rican birth certificate invalid July 1.

According to the Associated Press, that means hundreds of thousands of people of Puerto Rican descent in the 50 states will have to arrange to get new documentation.

"I was planning a trip, and now I don't know," Julissa Flores, 33, of Orlando, Fla., told AP. "Do I need to go get a passport? If my birth certificate is invalid, am I stuck here?"

Law enforcement officials, politicians discuss illegal immigration

WEATHERFORD -- Area law enforcement officials grappling with illegal immigration and the problems they say it brings -- from drug trafficking to increased demand on healthcare providers -- said Monday that they need help dealing with the issue in North Texas.

That help could come from Congress, which they say could send more money for training and equipment, or from the state, which might gain the ability to tax transfers of money out of the country and use that revenue to help law enforcement or healthcare.

"There's no end to it," Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said of illegal immigration. "It's just a fact of life."

Fowler was among more than a dozen law enforcement officials, along with state Rep. Phil King, R-Weatherford, and Minuteman Project co-founder Jim Gilchrist, who joined U.S. Rep. Kay Granger, R-Fort Worth, for a round-table discussion about immigration Monday in Weatherford.

Gov. who linked Christians, violence latest Obama pick

Missouri report tied 'domestic terrorists' with opposition to abortion, immigration

President Obama has picked to advise him on military actions inside the U.S. the Missouri governor whose state "Information Analysis Center" last year linked conservative organizations to domestic terrorism and said law enforcement officers should watch for suspicious individuals who may have bumper stickers from Ron Paul or Chuck Baldwin.

Missouri Gov. Jeremiah Nixon, a Democrat, is being joined on the Obama's special advisory panel by the governor of Puerto Rico, Luis Fortuno, and Arizona Gov. Janice Brewer, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano's replacement when she moved to Washington.

They are among Obama's nominations for the 10 positions on Obama's new "Council of Governors" that he will use for advice on "military activities in the United States."

WND reported earlier when Obama announced the council to advise on military actions in the U.S. and "to protect our nation against all types of hazards."

A subsequent WND report confirmed when a rebellion developed to the order, and a new push was launched for states to adopt laws limiting the use of their National Guard units unless there is an invasion, insurrection or other limited circumstance.

The original announcement said the new council is to include governors and administration
officials to review "such matters as involving the National Guard of the various states; homeland defense, civil support; synchronization and integration of state and federal military activities in the United States; and other matters of mutual interest pertaining to National Guard, homeland defense, and civil support activities."

However, there was no definition of the group's authority. Can the council recommend "military activities" and can the governors, who already are in command of their own state guard units, mandate activities outside of their areas of jurisdiction? The White House did not respond to WND questions on the issue.

A new announcement from the White House lists Nixon as one of the nominees.

"He is responsible for operating Missouri's innovative fusion center, the Missouri Information Analysis Center," the announcement confirmed.

It was in 2009 when the MIAC issued a report that not only linked conservative groups to domestic terrorism and warned law enforcement to watch for vehicles with bumper stickers promoting Paul and Baldwin, it also warned police to watch out for individuals with "radical" ideologies based on Christian views, such as opposing illegal immigration, abortion and federal taxes.

Palin: 'America is ready for another revolution'

Warns: 'Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda' reflects worldview out of touch with enemy U.S. faces

NASHVILLE – Sarah Palin received a rousing welcome from a crowd of more than 1,000 tea partiers last night at the first national tea party convention as she sent a strong message that she supports lower taxes, smaller government, transparency, energy independence and strong national security.

A large banquet room at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel was crowded from wall-to-wall with energized tea partiers and as many as 120 press organizations from around the world – including broadcasters from Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia and Japan.

"I'm a big supporter of this movement," she said. "America is ready for another revolution."

Palin applauded Scott Brown's recent Senate win in Massachusetts.

"Scott Brown represents what this beautiful movement is all about," she said. "He was just a guy with a truck and passion to serve our country. It took guts, and it took a lot of hard work. But with grass-roots support, Scott Brown carried the day."

Joint Chiefs of National Guard?

States' rights rebellion over National Guard
Lawmakers fight to keep governors, not president, in control of troops

Responding to an executive order by President Obama, a new push is under way for states to adopt laws limiting the use of their National Guard units unless there is an invasion, insurrection or other limited circumstance.

As WND reported, Obama's order establishes a new "Council of Governors" designated to advise on the "synchronization and integration of state and federal military activities in the United States."

The recent order, posted on the White House website, was accompanied by the explanation that the group is to work "to protect our nation against all types of hazards." It comes just weeks after the president issued a similarly obscure order vastly expanding INTERPOL's privileges in the U.S.

The White House said the new council is to include governors and administration officials to review "such matters as involving the National Guard of the various states; homeland defense, civil support; synchronization and integration of state and federal military activities in the United States; and other matters of mutual interest pertaining to National Guard, homeland defense, and civil support activities."

However, there was no definition of the group's authority. Can the council recommend "military activities" and can the governors, who already are in command of their own state guard units, mandate activities outside of their areas of jurisdiction? The White House did not respond to WND questions on the issue.

Birth certificate 'baloney': 'Official' doesn't mean real

Investigation shows how terrorists, fakers could pass as U.S. citizens

When it comes to birth certificates, just because it's official, doesn't mean its real.

A WND investigation has revealed that over the past three decades, changes to how the 50 states process vital documents have opened wide new avenues for nefarious parties to alter records and thus acquire fraudulent, but official birth certificates to falsely pass as U.S. citizens.

Thanks to the states' nearly exclusive reliance on digitalized vital records, a foreign terrorist, for example, wishing to obtain a U.S. passport for unhindered travel in and out of the country could – with the right computer knowledge or coercion of the right state employee – walk into a county courthouse and within minutes, pick up a genuine, but completely fraudulent American birth certificate for his passport application … and no one would be the wiser.

"It's entirely possible that these [vital records] systems could be altered by someone who wishes to do so," says Professor Eugene H. Spafford, executive director of the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security.

Busted! Obama praise planted in U.S. newspapers

Bogus messages from 'president's supporters' infest American print

Obama supporters are flooding unsuspecting newspapers with pro-Obama letters purportedly from average citizens – with duplicate messages appearing in more than 70 publications across the nation.

One writer identified as "Ellie Light" has published identical form letters in newspapers around the country. Sabrina Eaton of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported Light claims to have different hometowns within the respective newspaper readership areas. Each letter is nearly identical in grammar, style and subject.

Obama's eligibility becomes war among the states

Lawmakers jump into fray, seek answer to constitutional question

The demand for documentation of Barack Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval Office is surging, with lawmakers in several states now working on legislation that could be used to require future presidential candidates to reveal precisely how they are qualified under the U.S. Constitution's demand for a "natural born citizen."

WND already has reported on a bill co-sponsored by some three dozen lawmakers in Arizona who want to require candidates not only to submit the information, but state officials to independently verify the accuracy.

Bill sponsor Rep. Judy Burges, R-Skull Valley, told WND she already has started getting questions from other states who want details about the proposal.

A separate proposal has been created by a freedom of information action group in New York state, and now the National Conference of State Legislatures, which monitors and tabulates the work of legislative bodies, confirms through its database that several other plans are in the works.

3 dozen lawmakers want proof of Obama eligibility

Proposal would demand state officials independently verify information

Lawmakers in Arizona have proposed a law that would require state officials to begin independently verifying the accuracy of newly required documents affirming the constitutional eligibility of any candidate for the U.S. presidency.

"Certainly, there has been controversy over President Obama and his birth certificate, where he was born, etc.," state Sen. Sylvia Allen, R-Snowflake, told the Arizona Capitol Times. "It just makes sense and will stop any controversy in the future to just show you are a natural born citizen."

She is one of about three dozen lawmakers to sign on as co-sponsors.

The plan would accomplish essentially the same thing as that proposed by Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., on the federal level.

The provisions of Posey's H.R. 1503 are straightforward:

"To amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to require the principal campaign committee of a candidate for election to the office of President to include with the committee's statement of organization a copy of the candidate's birth certificate, together with such other documentation as may be necessary to establish that the candidate meets the qualifications for eligibility to the Office of President under the Constitution."

Annie Hamilton – Wedged Between Barack and a Hard Place!

by Annie Hamilton

Ok, no disrespect intended, but America’s love affair with political correctness is over the top, and let’s faces it, retarded end of discussion. Handled like something out of the Special Olympics Manual for THE SLOW” (if that hurts your feelings, get over it, it’s time our Nation considers a ‘new’ policy on ‘Reality’).

We live in this wussified Nation with weenie Americans who cannot tolerate truth of any kind. Will not allow anyone to talk about Christ in our children’s schools because that is against the neighbor’s right to ‘choose’ THEIR OWN RELIGION. They may be a Jewish person or may practice Wicca or perhaps they are Amish, catholic, Satanist or an atheist.

If they are a Muslim, they are allowed to talk about their ideology, however, and discussing that slideshow is permitted for whatever reason it doesn’t seem to objectify church and state.

Interesting no one seems to be ‘concerned’ about the alien enemies act and the FACT that Islam violates ALL KINDS OF OTHER TREATIES AND ACTS…..and we shouldn’t have any of these people on our soil for ANY reasons whatsoever.

I’m very much with REAGAN for many reasons I’ve covered previously……(oh, gee – there is just something so very OFFENSIVE and extremely UNSAVORY about a group of THUGS who have endeavored to KILL US since the beginning of time?? But really, Need I say much More??

No, I’m NOT over-reacting, this is INDEED what the plan is for all Infidels under Islam (an Infidel is a non-Muslim) and do NOT be fooled. If you are not a ‘ Muslim, “THEY PLAN TO KILL OR ENSLAVE YOU. I plan to allow NEITHER. WHAT ABOUT YOU?

And what is this destructive idiot’s ‘Plan’ regarding additional attacks, threats, etc?

He’s done NOTHING with the exception of continue to use the founding documents for two-ply, encourage our Leaders to gamble our tax dollars away on his pop-tart retard purchases, annoying the hell out of everyone with a pulse…

U.S. government moving to deport longtime legal residents with criminal convictions

Roger Simmie is no angel.

Twenty years ago, the Mountain View carpenter was convicted of resisting arrest and drug possession. Fifteen years after that, he was found guilty of battering his girlfriend. Three times, he's been convicted of drunken driving.

But it's what he didn't do that got him locked up recently in the Santa Clara County Jail. Simmie, a Scot by birth who fought in Vietnam as a U.S. Marine, never applied for U.S. citizenship.

Now he finds himself facing deportation as one of nearly 400,000 immigrants incarcerated this year by the U.S. government. A growing number of noncitizens who have been living in this country as legal permanent residents are learning that run-ins with the law, even minor ones, are translating into life-altering, one-way tickets to homelands they no longer know.

A report last spring from Human Rights Watch found that 1 out of 5 "criminal aliens" deported from 1997 to 2007 had been in the country legally. Many, like Simmie, have known America as home for decades. "I'm living in limbo," said Simmie, 61, whose friends raised thousands of dollars to hire a lawyer to fight his deportation.

Chrysler Dealers and attorneys Donofrio and Pidgeon file lawsuit in NYC

It can now be reported the Bankruptcy case for the Chrysler Dealers who were stripped of their dealerships by the Obama Administration has indeed been filed. Donofrio and Pidgeon have filed a Rule 60 Motion to reconsider on behalf of 21 rejected Chrysler dealers. As was expected, several more dealers have joined in the suit as well. Docket number 6137 was filed today, 12/29/2009 Motion for Relief from Stay to Allow Appeal to Continue filed by Randyl Meigs on behalf of Tommy Manuel Chrysler - Jeep, Inc.. with hearing to be held on 1/21/2010 at 10:00 AM at Courtroom 523 (AJG) Responses due by 1/14/2010. The Debtor in this case is the old Chrysler.

In their briefing, Donofrio and Pidgeon assert that the Judge in the original case, the Honorable Robert J. Gonzalez, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Federal Court, Southern District of New York, committed an unintentional fraud by miss interpreting an important witness statement. That witness was Fiat executive, Alfredo Altavilla, who stated that restructuring of the Dealer network needed to occur before the Fiat purchase of Chrysler could move forward. The Honorable Judge Gonzalez interpreted Altavilla’s answer to mean that a restructuring did not occur when indeed it did.

What's your opinion?
The stage is being set for a major ruling from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on whether the U.S. judiciary actually can enforce the provisions of the Constitution.

The basic question is being raised in an appeal of a district judge's decision to dismiss a legal challenge to Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility to be president.

WND previously reported U.S. District Judge David Carter's decision to dismiss the complaint that listed several dozen plaintiffs. Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has filed a notice of appeal to the 9th Circuit in the case. Because of the unusual circumstances in which some of the plaintiffs are represented by another lawyer, attorney Orly Taitz also has filed a motion for reconsideration.

Kreep, who represents plaintiffs Wiley Drake and Markham Robinson, posed the question at the center of the case: "Whether the court may make a determination of whether the president has met the eligibility requirements for office, whether the 'natural born citizen' clause of the
United States Constitution may be enforced by the courts, whether the 'natural born citizen' clause of the U.S. Constitution is a nonpolitical question, whether the court may remove from office a president that was not elected in accordance with the U.S. Constitution."

America's Secret ICE Castles

"If you don't have enough evidence to charge someone criminally but you think he's illegal, we can make him disappear." Those chilling words were spoken by James Pendergraph, then executive director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Office of State and Local Coordination, at a conference of police and sheriffs in August 2008. Also present was Amnesty International's Sarnata Reynolds, who wrote about the incident in the 2009 report "Jailed Without Justice" and said in an interview, "It was almost surreal being there, particularly being someone from an organization that has worked on disappearances for decades in other countries. I couldn't believe he would say it so boldly, as though it weren't anything wrong."

Pendergraph knew that ICE could disappear people, because he knew that in addition to the publicly listed field offices and detention sites, ICE is also confining people in 186 unlisted and unmarked subfield offices, many in suburban office parks or commercial spaces revealing no information about their ICE tenants--nary a sign, a marked car or even a US flag. (Presumably there is a flag at the Veterans Affairs Complex in Castle Point, New York, but no one would associate it with the Criminal Alien Program ICE is running out of Building 7.) Designed for confining individuals in transit, with no beds or showers, subfield offices are not subject to ICE Detention Standards. The subfield office network was mentioned in an October report by Dora Schriro, then special adviser to Janet Napolitano, secretary of Homeland Security, but no locations were provided.

I obtained a partial list of the subfield offices from an ICE officer and shared it with immigrant advocates in major human and civil rights organizations, whose reactions ranged from perplexity to outrage. Andrea Black, director of Detention Watch Network (DWN), said she was aware of some of the subfield offices but not that people were held there. ICE never provided DWN a list of their locations.

Firing Lou Dobbs, is like castrating all good journalists.

© 2009 WorldNetDaily

Lou Dobbs' refusal to drop "birther" stories about challenges to President Obama's constitutional eligibility to hold office was a major source of contention with CNN management, leading the unconventional anchor to walk away from the network and more than $9 million, according to the New York Post.

Dobbs, known for his strong stand against illegal immigration, surprised his loyal viewers Wednesday night by announcing his resignation and offering no indication of his next move.

~snip~
[ ... "Judging, Dobbs by his supporters and critics, I must say he is true
American Patriot, and I am proud of him." BorderRaven said. ... ]

Dobbs said advocacy groups that support illegal aliens and have pressed for him to be fired "have created an atmosphere and have been unrelenting in their propaganda."

Outspoken opponents of Dobbs include the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Anti-Defamation League, the National Council of La Raza, Internet media watchdog Media Matters and Geraldo Rivera of Fox News.

[BorderRaven said, "For America to be what America was, America needs Lou Dobbs on TV."]

In his daily column today, WND CEO and Editor Joseph Farah calls Dobbs a "real newsman" whose departure from CNN after 30 years "leaves the network in a state of programming irrelevancy."

"What makes Lou Dobbs so special," Farah writes, "is his independence and fearlessness. Dobbs clearly set his own agenda. He had no interest in the "conventional wisdom" of his industry. Dobbs thinks like a real American newsman – a throwback to an age when journalists actually believed they were watchdogs of government and asked tough questions in the interests of the people."

ARE YOU ANGRY YET?

By Lynn Stuter
November 10, 2009
NewsWithViews.com

Tomorrow is Veterans Day, commemorating our men and women who fought (and died) to keep this country free under the Constitution and Bill of Rights established by our Founding Fathers.

On November 4, 2008, Barack Hussein Obama was elected to the office of president of the United States. The evidence grows that Obama is not an American citizen, was not eligible to the office he holds, should never have been allowed on the ballot in any of the 50 states.

1. Not one of the Senators of Representatives in Congress has actually seen Obama's birth certificate. They have seen pictures of a document posted on the internet, but they have not seen the actual birth certificate.

2. Hawaii claims to hold a birth certificate for Obama but that does not mean Obama was born in Hawaii. At the time Obama contends he was born (1961), Hawaii (Act 96, Session Laws of 1911, Special Session of 1909 and the Organic Act) allowed for the birth registration, in Hawaii, of foreign-born children. Until the actual birth certificate is produced and examined; where Obama was actually born is unknown and unproven.

3. No Hawaiian hospital is willing to own up to Obama being born there. Meanwhile, Obama and his half-sister have claimed he was born at two different hospitals. When Obama finally decided he was born at one particular hospital, internet sites set about to "correct" their stories to reflect his unproven claims, including the left-wing website, Snopes.com.

Twitter Jitters: Can What You Tweet About Police Land You in Jail?

"SWAT teams rolling down 5th Ave. ... Report received that police are nabbing anyone that looks like a protester. ... Stay alert watch your friends!" Pennsylvania State Police arrested New York social worker Elliot Madison last month for being part of a group that posted messages like those on Twitter. The arrest took place in a Pittsburgh motel during protests at the Group of 20 summit. In all, almost 5,000 protesters demonstrated throughout the city during two days, and about 200 were arrested for disorderly conduct.

But Madison wasn't among those protesting on the street. Instead, published reports say he was part of a behind-the-scenes communications team using Twitter to "direct others, specifically protesters of the G-20 summit, in order to avoid apprehension after a lawful order to disperse." A week later, FBI agents spent 16 hours in Madison's home executing a search warrant for evidence of federal anti-rioting law violations.
